Features

  • Turnkey container integrates generation, storage and control. The unit combines PV, LiFePO4 battery and PCS in one ISO enclosure, pre-commissioned for rapid deployment.
  • Intelligent dispatch coordinates all power sources. The EMS orchestrates solar, battery and diesel by load and resource, optimizing fuel use and cycling automatically.
  • Liquid cooling sustains MWh-scale cycling. A central loop holds thousands of cells in a narrow band, maximizing round-trip efficiency and life.
  • Scalable blocks serve large sites. Containers link into MWh arrays so capacity and power scale with utility, mining and C&I needs.
  • Remote monitoring supports unattended operation. CAN/RS485/WiFi and EMS scheduling give visibility into generation, consumption and faults from anywhere.
  • Multi-level protection meets container ESS codes. Pack, rack and container BMS layers plus fire suppression contain faults before they escalate.

Applications

  • Commercial & Industrial Peak Shaving: Stores midday or off-peak energy and discharges during high-tariff windows to cut demand charges at factories and warehouses.
  • Solar Self-Consumption & Microgrids: Sits on the DC bus of a PCS to absorb PV generation and release it when the sun drops, supporting site-level microgrids.
  • Grid Support & Frequency Regulation: The 208.9kW DC-side output and fast BMS control let operators provide buffered energy to stabilize a local grid connection.
  • Critical-Site Backup: The 417.9kWh bank rides through outages for telecom, data, or process loads that cannot tolerate interruption.
  • Remote & Off-Grid Installations: Pairs with a hybrid PCS to deliver stable power where grid access is weak or unavailable.
  • Container-Yard Energy Buffers: Its fixed 1300×1300×2896mm, 3800kg footprint and IP55 enclosure suit permanent outdoor yard deployment.

Energy Management & System Architecture

At its core the SW-eBlock-417L is a 417.9kWh liquid-cooled DC battery cabinet built around LFP cells (314Ah) organized into 52.25kWh packs. The cabinet delivers 208.9kW of DC-side power at a 1331.2Vdc rated voltage, with charge and discharge efficiency of ≥95% and a deep 98% depth of discharge, storing energy for grid-scale and commercial solar projects.

An integrated BMS and intelligent energy scheduling manage SOC within ≤1% error, control charge/discharge depth, and apply cell-balancing strategies to slow capacity aging. Liquid cooling holds the stack stable from −25°C to 55°C, while Ethernet and RS485 links plus an equipped cloud platform feed status to site controllers for coordinated power flow.

Grid, Backup & System Integration

The cabinet is designed for grid-connected and off-grid energy storage, sitting on the DC bus of an external PCS to absorb PV generation and release stored energy during peak demand. Its 1164.8–1497.6Vdc operating window and 200A max continuous current let it shift load and shave peaks across demanding commercial sites.

For backup, the 417.9kWh bank rides through outages and supports solar self-consumption when paired with a hybrid PCS. System-level safety integrates Perfluorohexane pack and optional water fire suppression, H2 detection with an explosion-proof fan, IP55 enclosure, and UN38.3 transport certification, while bottom cable entry and cloud monitoring simplify integration and commissioning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this battery cabinet connect to my existing solar plant PCS?

Yes. The SW-eBlock-417L is a DC battery cabinet rated at 1331.2Vdc with a 1164.8–1497.6Vdc window, so it links to the DC bus of a compatible hybrid or grid-side PCS. Confirm PCS ratings during design.

How much energy does it store?

It stores 417.9kWh at 98% DOD, delivering up to 208.9kW DC. At 200kW it backs a site about two hours, scaling down with a lower load.

Does it need special cooling or ventilation?

No. Liquid cooling runs from −25°C to 55°C with no extra air handling. The IP55 enclosure and bottom cable entry suit outdoor yards; plan a pad for the 3800kg unit.

What safety systems are built in?

Pack- and system-level Perfluorohexane suppression, H2 detection with an explosion-proof fan, DC breaker and fuse protection, and UN38.3 certification are included.
