Collection: Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Solution

SunWell's Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Solution keeps shops, restaurants, clinics, cold stores, workshops and small factories running through outages while cutting daytime electricity bills. Each kit pairs bifacial panels, a parallel-ready 48 V hybrid inverter platform, and a shared LiFePO4 battery bank in one pre-sized package. The range starts at a 40 kWh medium-commercial system and steps up to a 64 kWh large-commercial system, both delivering 22 kW of pure sine wave output at unity power factor to protect POS, refrigeration, ovens and machinery — and the platform parallels up to six units as the business grows.

Selection Guide

For Commercial & Industrial, the model is set by trading loads, whether air conditioning or cold storage must run all day, and how much backup you expect. Start by listing the loads that must never drop — POS, refrigeration, security and any motor-driven equipment — then estimate their combined running watts and the hours they must hold through an outage. The 22 kW single-phase output covers most small-business peaks, including the inrush of several air conditioners and chest freezers starting together on a 230 V supply.

The 40 kWh tier (about 99 kWh per day, two 11 kW inverters in parallel for 22 kW single-phase) is the medium-commercial system for large supermarkets, restaurants, clinics and gyms. It runs commercial fridges, chest freezers, several air conditioners, LED lighting, bakery ovens and POS together without flicker, and gives about 13.5 hours of typical backup. The parallel pair also lets the site scale to six units later without replacing the first inverter.

The 64 kWh tier uses the same 22 kW parallel inverter pair and array as the 40 kWh system but adds a larger shared LiFePO4 bank for about 57% more storage and the same roughly 13.5 hours of backup under heavier draw. It fits large commercial sites, cold-storage-heavy businesses, and workshops with high overnight consumption or long cloudy periods, where extended autonomy matters more than extra power.

In short: a mid-size shop, clinic or restaurant → 40 kWh; a large site, cold store or workshop with high overnight draw → 64 kWh. Both sit on the same parallel-ready platform, so expansion needs no equipment change — add inverter units and LiFePO4 battery modules toward six units as the business grows. Both systems include remote monitoring so a manager sees state of charge, solar yield and load in one view, and can stage non-critical loads to stretch backup during an extended grid failure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the air conditioner and refrigeration run through trading hours?

Yes. The 40 kWh tier runs several 2 HP air conditioners with commercial fridges, chest freezers, LED lighting, bakery ovens and POS together, about 99 kWh per day with roughly 13.5 hours of backup. The 64 kWh tier carries the same load with a larger bank for heavier or longer draw.

Can I expand as my business grows?

Yes. Both tiers run on a parallel-ready platform that scales from two to six inverter units, so a second pair doubles output and battery without replacing the first. Add more LiFePO4 battery modules to the shared bank for longer autonomy at any stage.

Does it protect sensitive POS and commercial equipment?

Yes. Every C&I kit outputs pure sine wave at unity power factor, which is safe for electronic, motor-driven and lighting loads such as POS terminals, salon tools, cold-room controllers, ovens and workshop machines.

Can it power a workshop or small factory?

Yes. The 22 kW parallel output covers fridges, machines, lighting and air conditioning for clinics, small factories, shops and workshops through long outages. For three-phase or above 22 kW demand, contact us about a three-phase configuration on the same platform.

What warranty covers the C&I systems?

SunWell commercial solar-and-storage systems follow category warranties: LiFePO4 batteries for 5 years, hybrid inverters for 2 years, and solar panels under the supplier policy of a 10-year product warranty plus 30-year linear power warranty.
