About Sunwell

SunWell is a one-stop solar and energy storage solution provider built around one market: Africa. More than a product supplier, we deliver complete new energy projects — covering design, manufacturing, installation and long-term operation and maintenance — for residential, commercial and government customers.

Our work spans complete solar and storage systems for homes and businesses, through to microgrids and virtual power plants. Rather than shipping individual components, we integrate China's new energy manufacturing resources into finished solutions that can be deployed, monitored and maintained locally.

We run on a dual-core structure. Research, development and technical support sit in Guangzhou, while SunWell (Hong Kong) Limited handles cross-border settlement, logistics and overseas channel management. In 2026 we opened our first African service station with a local inventory warehouse in Côte d'Ivoire, giving customers local stock, on-site technical support and a faster after-sales response.

From Machinery to Clean Energy

Our predecessor, Andes Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd., was founded in 2007, supplying generators, water pumps and drip irrigation systems to Nigeria and other African markets through numerous government projects. In 2012, as African demand shifted decisively toward renewable power, we established SunWell (Guangzhou) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and rebuilt the business around solar. Three years later we opened two dedicated production bases — a lithium battery factory in Dongguan and an inverter manufacturing plant in Shenzhen — and entered strategic cooperation on energy storage and inverter core technology.

Completing the Chain, Going Global

In 2018 our PV module intelligent manufacturing base in Jiangsu came online, completing a full-chain layout of panels, batteries and inverters, backed by long-term partnerships with leading global PV manufacturers. We restructured into a group in 2023, registering SunWell Group Co., Ltd. in Guangzhou while launching our Hong Kong trading hub. In 2025 we deepened our cooperation on high-voltage three-phase inverters to strengthen commercial and industrial storage, jointly building an overseas after-sales and maintenance network. The first Africa-based service station and warehouse followed in Côte d'Ivoire in 2026.
