Energy Management & System Architecture

The SW-ESS6-5LV3 is a 15.36kWh compact single-phase all-in-one ESS that integrates a 6000W inverter, PV MPPT, and a 51.2Vdc LiFePO4 battery in one space-saving stack. Its MPPT accepts up to 11000W of PV across 40–600Vdc, converting rooftop solar into stored energy or immediate AC load.

The 16S1P×3 pack (300Ah) is managed by the system BMS and rated for 6000 cycles at 70% SOH, with a 100A max charge/discharge path and charge voltage of 57.6V. The inverter outputs 6000W (6000VA) at 220/230/240V, 50/60Hz, THDi below 3%, and RS485/RS232 with optional WLAN feed status to home energy management for coordinated charging and load control.

Grid, Backup & System Integration

The unit runs grid-connected or off-grid, supplying backed loads at up to 6000W during outages and holding 50/60Hz (±0.5%) in island mode. It maximizes solar self-consumption and peak shaving—storing midday PV and discharging in the evening—while an adjustable 0.8 leading-to-lagging power factor supports the grid.

Capacity scales through the optional battery stack (the 5LV1 starts with one 5.12kWh module, the 5LV2 with two for 10.24kWh, and the 5LV3 with three for 15.36kWh). Plug-and-play commissioning, IP65 housing, AFCI arc protection, and certifications including UN38.3, IEC62619, CE, UL1973 and UL2054 simplify safe residential integration.

LiFePO4 batteries for 5 years, hybrid inverters for 2 years, and solar panels under the supplier policy of a 10-year product warranty plus 30-year linear power warranty.
